My Aunt Lou passed away Friday evening.  This is what I wrote Friday when I got home from the hospital.

Just a little over an hour ago (8:32pm) my Aunt Lou passed away. As Uncle Dave said, she is now singing in the heavenly choir. Tonight was a extreme night. It was extremely sad on one hand but extremely awesome in another way. Tonight will be a night that I will never forget as long as I live. When we were finally able to get back in the room with Aunt Lou, her Heart Rate was 80 and her Blood Pressure was 40/18. There was about 15 of us that were able to gather around her bedside as she passed from this life to Heaven. As her HR kept dropping everyone knew that it wouldn't be much longer. The nurse came in and checked on her and asked Uncle Dave if he needed anything, he said that he just needed for Aunt Lou to go home. The nurse told him that it wouldn't be much longer. It was about when her HR was 25ish that everyone that was in there held hand around her bed and starting praying and thanking God for Aunt Lou and the impact that she had in each and every one of our lives. After we were done praying many started just telling Aunt Lou that they loved her and would miss her but that one day would see her again. Mom told Aunt Lou to say hi to her Grandma and Grandpa (Aunt Lou's mom and dad) and to hold Amy for her. It was such a surreal experience to be there and be able to be gathered with family as another saint passes through to glory. Uncle Dave was very strong throughout the evening. I know it has to be one of the hardest days of his life. Right before I started writing this I checked Facebook because Uncle David was doing a lot of posting through the night. His post was

"I was 5 when Dad was taken, Mom told me just the other day that I had put my arm around her and told her that I would take care of her now. I tried my best to live up to that promise. RIP Mommy.... I love her and I miss her already."

She was definitely a women who was loved by a lot of people. RIP Aunt Lou we love you and will all see you soon one day!
